Early Childhood
Ages 3 through 5
At Mount Olive Lutheran School, our early childhood program provides an education for our littlest learners in a Christ-centered, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment. Our program focuses on who your child is, as a uniquely created child of God. Our teachers focus on knowing your child as an individual and tailor your child’s education to meet their strengths and needs, based on the Iowa Early Learning Standards. We consider it the greatest privilege to serve our families with the love of Jesus each and every day.
Class Offerings:
3 year old preschool
- 3 years old by September 15th
- Actively working on toilet learning
- 5 full days each week
- Preschool 3’s Curriculum
4 year old preschool
- 3 years old by September 15th
- Fully toilet trained
- 5 full days each week
- Preschool 4’s Curriculum
Transitional Kindergarten
- 4 or 5 years old
- Fully toilet trained
- 5 full days each week
- Transitional Kindergarten Curriculum
Our early childhood program has National Lutheran Schools Accreditation and is licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Resources. We accept Childcare Assistance (CCA) for families who qualify through Iowa DHS.
The early childhood program at Mount Olive Lutheran School runs on a typical school year schedule. School hours are 8:15-3:30 p.m. Before and after care is available each school day. Summer care is available through our summer camp program.
