Join us on a visit to Mission Central!
Join us on Saturday, October 20th for an unforgettable visit to Mission Central, our LCMS missionary support agency in Mapleton, IA. This one day trip is for everyone: families, singles, couples and guests. Children are welcome and encouraged to come!
Touring Mission central will include a visit to the fantastic barn museum with its huge collection of unusual and unique artifacts from countries around the world, items you will probably never see in another museum anywhere. The latest attraction at Mission Central is a Creation Theater presentation displaying dozens of animals from around the world, explaining how each was created to be unique from all the other animals. At noon we will enjoy a free, delicious home cooked meal served by Mission Central volunteers. After lunch we will hear an interesting presentation from visiting missionaries Gary and Stephanie Schulte who serve in West Africa, where Gary is the director for the LCMS mission work in that area. It will be an interesting and fun day!
Make plans now to join us! We will meet at the church at 7am to share rides. Sign up at the display in the gathering area by October 14th, so they will know how many lunches to provide for us.
