So proud of Heidi Stafford Rains who has received the Lutheran Education Association's (LEA) 2022 Distinguished Lutheran Early Childhood Adminstrator Award at the annual national convention, presented to her by Jon Laabs. She gives all her energy and heart to the children of Mount Olive every day to help them grow in school and more importantly in their faith as well as their families. It is nice to see her recognized for her efforts.
Heidi will be honored in both of our weekend services this weekend: at 5:00 on Saturday, 4/2, and at 11:00 on Sunday, 4/3. Mount Olive Lutheran School children will sing at both services.
On Sunday, there will be a reception for Heidi following the service. A special Sunday School will be held during the Sunday morning service, with dismissal at the sermon, around 11:20.
