05/18/2021 Mask Policy for Mount Olive

May 18, 2021

To the Congregation of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, School Families of Mount Olive Lutheran School, School Faculty and all Employees

On May 13th the CDC advised it is no longer necessary to wear a mask indoors if you have been fully vaccinated and two weeks have expired since your second vaccination.

Therefore, Mount Olive Lutheran Church, under the direction of the Elders, will suspend the mandatory mask wearing policy currently in practice for church functions.  If you are fully vaccinated, you are no longer required to wear a mask.  The policy beginning the weekend of May 22nd is mask wearing is voluntary.

Every other pew seating and communion in the pew will remain in practice.  The hand sanitizer will remain in place and if you desire to wear a mask but do not have one, mask will continue to be available.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this inconvenience, and we thank the Lord for bringing us through this pandemic.  We pray the Lord will continue to bless us and keep us all healthy.

In His service,

Greg Scheiwe

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:24,25 NKJV
