Our brother in Christ, Ian Donald Thompson, fell asleep with faith in Jesus as his Savior, on Friday, September 25. He was four days shy of his 80th birthday.
His funeral service will be held this week Thursday, October 1, at 12:00 noon, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50313. (This is at the intersection of NW 2nd Street and 60th Avenue, about 1.5 miles north of the 2nd Avenue exit off I-35/80.) The service will be officiated and accompanied by Pastor James and Kathy Brammeier.
Visitation with Ian's wife, Donna, and the rest of the Thompson family will take place at Hamilton's during the hour preceding the service. Interment will be in the Highland Memory Gardens, immediately across the street from the funeral home.
