Because of the holiday weekend last week, we are highlighting our Mission Mites offering this weekend, Sept. 10-11.
This month we are focusing on National Grant #17 “Spiritual and Physical Food for the Children of Peru through La Mision Luterana del Peru”. Castillo Fuerte (Mighty Fortress) Mercy House is a ministry of the national Lutheran Mission of Peru. They provide for the physical and spiritual needs of those who are struggling to survive in one of the poorest districts in Lima, Peru, teaching the children to pray and memorize Scripture, feeding them a healthy lunch each weekday, providing a safe space for them, and most of all, sharing the love of Christ with the children and their families.
