Youth Group

The goal in ministry to youth is to create in them a hunger to know and aggressively follow Jesus Christ. We see the greatest need of youth today (listen up, teens) as being that of discipleship and preparation for the future — not entertainment.

Our three-fold objective is: (1) To do our part to ensure that all teens in our church family are given many and various ways to grow in their faith; (2) To provide an environment for discipleship attitudes to form and take root; (3) To emphasize servanthood as the primary way for teens to be actively involved in the church.

The High School Youth Group meets on Wednesday night during Foundations and on Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. For more information or to get involved in Youth Group, contact Sandi Meyer.

Young Children in Church

We believe that God calls all to worship him, including the smallest of children. "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" Matthew 19:14. However, we also understand that little ones can get restless during a church service. In order to meet the needs of all who come to worship, you'll find information below about opportunites for young children in church.

Nursery

A  nursery is offered for young children in the 3-year-old preschool room during each worship service. Age appropriate toys are available for children. A speaker is provided in the room, so caregivers can hear the service, while caring for the children.

Children's Messages

Each Sunday at our 10:30 a.m. service, a special message for children is offered by a member of our school's teaching staff. These teachers provide a message for children at their level just prior to the sermon. Children are invited to come up and sit on the steps for the children's message. Children receive a children's bulletin they can complete before returning to their seats.

Busy Bags

Busy bags, containing books, coloring books, crayons, and other activities are available at every service. Pick one up for your children hanging outside the sanctuary doors before worship.
